Last 19 th April were awarded the Prizes to the “Best Spanish Food Company 2006 “. The jury panel was presided by promotion Vice-Chairwoman of the Ministry of Agriculture Maria Josefa Lueso and includes experts, representatives of associations, of the sector and of the Public Administrations. The company Rafael Alonso Aguilera S.L. from Tabernas ( Almeria ), as producer of the Organic Olive Oil “Oro del Desierto " has been rewarded by the Second prize in the category of organic production, due to the effort made for the producing of organic oil of high quality. The company complements the Oil production activity with a restaurant - museum and cattle farming of different native breeds. This prize joins the curriculum of awards obtained by the company. The awards ceremony will take place next November in the Ministry of Agriculture and Fishing and will be presided by Ms. Minister of Agriculture and Fishing, Elena Espinosa.
